York University students are invited to create Spirit Teams and compete in the Red & White Spirit Competition to be #1 in school spirit! The Spirit Competition challenges our student groups to show their spirit through participation in four challenges.
SCLD Spirit Team is in full gear. Get hours towards York is U, Health Ed or other SCLD affiliated units. Come and help us win, there is a pizza party in it for you!

- Wed Nov 7 @ 1pm at Vari Hall Kiosk : Want to be video-celebrity and get your cheer on? Come in full york-gear( or york is u or SCLD gear) and we will make a York SCLD Cheer video together to enter the competition. No experience required, just positive energy and willingness to participate in this exclusive cheer!
- Thurs Nov 8 @1pm at Vari Hall Kiosk: Video shy and don't feel like performing? Show us your best smile in our flashmob style SCLD York Spirit competition, feel free to push your RED/WHITE love and bring props or decorations. You can also just rock your 'I heart YU' shirts & other York U gear
The grand finale will be Nov. 14th during the Red and White Rally to show the York community in person their true spirit on November 14, 2012
York is U & Health Ed teams will be responsible in submitting each contest, and coordinating each contest event. We just ask that volunteers show up timely and in YU gear 🙂 Official Contest rules here:
