Meet and Greet is an opportunity for Student Community and Leadership Development (SCLD) affiliated organizations (RED Zone, Res Life, York is U, HealthEd, YU Lead, and Student Community)  to connect, network and collaborate with York Students. This is a great chance to introduce students to opportunities of engagement on campus. York spirit will be promoted through the wear of Red and White or other York gear to win prizes, show York pride and have fun! There will be several peer leaders that will interact with our guests in order to display the various points of engagement that are available through SCLD.
This Meet and Greet will open the door to York students as a way to interact and learn about each other as well as SCLD. It will give York students the chance to learn that everybody has a place at SCLD and further, at York University, to enhance their leadership potential and make the most of their time spent at York. Terry Fox Run 5 Coordinator Positions Available!

It's that time of year again! York is U is hosting the annual Terry Fox Run on September 16th at York U and Raymond is looking for five dedicated coordinators! The Terry Fox Run is held in memory of Terry Fox, who ran across the country to raise money for cancer research.

“Maybe that’s why I’ve made it as far as I have – 2,521
miles (4,057 kilometres). If I ran to a doctor every time
I got a little cyst or abrasion I’d still be in Nova Scotia.
Or else I’d never have started. I’ve seen people in so
much pain. The little bit of pain I’m going through is
nothing. They can’t shut it off, and I can’t shut down
every time I feel a little sore.” JULY 29, 1980
